Clinical Psychologist
Jen is a passionate and experienced Clinical Psychologist who has worked in public mental health and in the Alcohol and Other Drug Sector for 17 years. She is interested in supporting people through life transitions, including relationship issues, grief and loss, role changes, stress, conflict, self-esteem issues, treating mental health issues like anxiety and mood disorders, Psychotic disorders, PTSD and other trauma-related conditions, Personality Disorders and Substance Use Disorders.
Jen uses various treatment modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, with a Sensorimotor Psychotherapy lens and she has recently been trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing), a targeted trauma treatment.
Jen is able to see adults and young people over the age of 15 years, from all backgrounds, and is sensitive to the needs of those from Indigenous, refugee and CALD backgrounds, as well as those who identify as LGBTIQ+.
